5 Blushes for BEAUTIFUL BROWN SKIN

I know Blushes for brown skin!!! Some feel we don't need blush or why would I apply blush??? I don't want to look like a clown with this big red circle on my face. No my beautiful bronze goddess it's not going to make you look like Bozo the Clown and yes we too can "Rock the Blush" as well. It's all about picking out the right shade for your skin tone.

Here I have listed 5 out of many of blushes I believe will work brilliantly with all array of beautiful brownness that we share.

The first one is goes without mentioning really. If you have been wearing make for a while I know you have heard of this first one. 

MAC Blush in Raizin : This reddish-brown tone blush is a oldie but goody. Not too loud and awesome for beginners. This blush gets an honorable mention because it complements so many shades of brown skin tones.

E.L. F.(eyes lips face) HD Blush in Encore : This Vitamin E enriched blush can look very alarming when first seen but don't let that alarm you. A little will go along way!!! This can be applied after you apply your foundation and before you set your face with your powder. This will make it last longer (for all my oily sista out there). This vibrant color can be blended gently  in a circular motion. Just give it a try I know we try to stay away from pink but this one we can rock!

The deep red tone is very pigmented and long lasting.  This may not be very easy to find because black radiance is not sold everywhere but I guarantee once you find it the price alone will put a smile on you face!

5 Gorgeous Lipsticks for Beautiful Brown Skin

Lipsticks on our skin whether we are cafe au lait, mocha, butter pecan, or deep chocolate can be very beautiful.  There is no limit to what we can do we can choose colors that are Neutral,Classic and even  go B-O-L-D!!. We can wear them all!!!
Here are just a few to try:

1.If you are looking for something neutral that can be worn anytime than Teddy Bear by Milani is the one to get!  This lipstick is a beautiful cool tone nude. Even though it is a matte it is still very moisturizing leaving your lips soft and smoothe.

Oscars 2016 Best Makeup

This year Oscars 2016 Best Makeup goes to Kerry Washington

Kerry Washington looked absolutely Beautiful last night!!! Her sexy tousled ponytail and simply gorgeous makeup was just outstanding! She is such a classic beauty!

Beauty Products you Gotta Try!!!

There are so many cool and new things in the drugstore! When I go to CVS or Walgreen's I get side tracked and leave out with more than I came for, or better yet I don't even get what I came to the store for! LOL !
But any way here are a couple of items that you must try!!!

Garnier  Micellar Cleansing Water: It's a makeup remover,cleanser and hydrator. Just add a little to a cotton ball and wipe away! NO RINSING REQUIRED!!Yesss!!!!

Biore' Pore Penetrating Charcoal Bar: If  you are having breakouts try this! This will clean your skin and the charcoal will unclog your pores. Awesome!!

Rimmel London Wonder Lash Mascara: This mascara separates and lengthens your lashes. NO NEED FOR FALSIES!! Great!!

Milani Color Statement Matte Lipstick in Flirty: It's a rich deep berry shade that is very comfortable(especially for a matte lippie) and long lasting.  This lipstick is infused with grape seed oil extract so it won't dry out your lips! Wonderful!!!!!

I want to Look Like THAT!!!!!

Beauty is not all about perfection!!
Lately so many people have been on this kick of highlighting,contouring or sculpting, or what I known it to be called " Corrective Contouring".

So you ask "What is Corrective Contouring?" I'm so glad you asked!! In its simplest terms it is a technique many makeup artists use to minimize what you believe to be your less desired features while bringing attention to what you believe are your more flattering features. For example making a overly round face more slender or making a crooked nose appear straight.


Corrective Contouring is not a rigid technique but a celebration of your uniqueness and showing off your best assets!  I believe with the right technique, tools, and products you can make your face look anyway you want it!!!
Contouring  can be tricky and must be done right to achieve that fabulous look.
Below is a picture of the many face shapes and what is to be contoured(minimized) to what is to be highlighted (accentuate).

Contouring can be done with foundation that is 2 shaded darker than your skin tone.  Highlighting can be done with foundation that is 1 to 2 shades lighter than your skin tone.
There are many contouring and highlighting makeup palettes out on the market that you can choose from. When picking a contouring shade do not confuse it with bronzer!! Contouring is suppose to act as a shadow with not light bouncing off it. If you are highlighting under the eyes do not go too light which will a make you look as if you have a mask on your face.

But with all of this just remember its just makeup and it all washes off. So don't be stressed out about it, explore have fun!! All that matters at the end of the day is you are beautiful with and without makeup!!!
